Research a home in Jacksonville.

Start with the county

Counties to check for this regional search include Duval, St. Johns, Clay, Nassau. Confirm which county contains your parcel; a regional name or mailing city is not a jurisdiction boundary.

Save the property record and ask the county about the assumptions for a new owner. Check the responsible building department for permit questions and the actual utility for service coverage.

Keep property questions together

For each address, collect insurance quotes, inspection scope, association information and the costs you have confirmed. Test commute and service availability against your own requirements. Ask the school district to confirm any address-specific assignment you need.
